Muted: by Luca Pecori & Vera Marie Rodewald
Muted: literally it stays for turning off the sound but it also can mean that you are not able to speak. It describes in one word what the movie is about.

Does real silence really exist?
Are all silence the same?
Our goal was to describe the silence, through eight different situations.
Silence is not a concrete thing, it's more like a feeling.
Silence is more than just the absense of words; silence can be the loudest voice, a scream, it can be satisfaction, fear or excitement.
Silence is easy to misread, though it mostly doesn't consist of words and should be understood in any language.
This little short movie was a project for Audiovisual Production Culture, a course held by Max Juntunen at University of Lapland (Lapin Yliopisto), in Rovaniemi, Finland.
